The BIOS Bio-Dimming™ Module enables both spectrum and intensity control using a standard single-channel dimming circuit—no need for complex multi-channel systems. This means you can bring the circadian benefits of SkyBlue™ Technology into your project even with conventional 0-10V, ELV, DMX, or wireless dimming infrastructure.
During the day, BIOS LEDs deliver a strong circadian stimulus
By targeting the 490nm wavelength─the precise spectral region our bodies recognize as “sky blue” to help regulate alertness, mood and biological rhythms.
But at night, especially in 24-hour environments, it’s essential to reduce this blue light exposure to support healthy melatonin production and natural sleep-wake cycles.
How it Works
By simply dimming the lights, the BIOS Bio-Dimming™ Module automatically reduces SkyBlue™ output, transitioning lighting from an energizing daytime mode to a melatonin-friendly night mode—all through a single control channel.
Easy Integration
The Bio-Dimming™ Module integrates easily into your fixture by wiring directly to a constant current (CC) LED driver, and works seamlessly with BIOS dynamic biological light engines interfacing with any standard dimming protocol (0-10V, ELV, DMX, Wireless).
